Download IFRAC Linux version

Svgalib or libX11 are the only components required to run the game.

For a Direct Graphic Access(DGA) from X11 you need a server that supports XFree86-DGA extension. There are two comletely different DGA protocols:

Current version is 1.4.0.
In order to access the World-Wide Score List you should use a precompiled binary.
For obvious reasons I can't give away the source code for password generation, therefore the distributed code does not include score submission. XFree86 4.0 is needed to run full screen mode

Tarball:
source (373K)
binary (glibc 2.2.5,  596K)
RPM-4 (RedHat 7+) source (376K) binary (glibc 2.2.5,  586K)

Old version.

Version 1.1.3b (provides DGA for XFree86 3.3, no high score submission)

Tarball:
source(366.4K)
RPM packages:
source(369K) binary (glibc 2.1.3, - 848K)

Installation.
Tarball.   Just do:

   tar -xzf ifrac-1.4.0.tar.gz

RPM source. Log on as an administrator, set CC and CFLAGS if necessary and type:

rpm --rebuild ifrac-1.4.0-1.rh71.src.rpm
This creates a binary package usually wriiten in /usr/src/redhat/RPMS .
Get it and follow instructions below.

RPM binary Log on as an administrator and type:

rpm -Uvh ifrac-1.4.0-1.rh71.bin.rpm
