If you like Tetris^TM, and looking for a simple way to extend your experience to a new dimension, you probably wouldn't think of anything easier (and more addictive) than packing rectangular prisms ("3D oblongs") having at least two ribs (sides) of same size, and this is what the game is about !

Originally released in 1990 by Simsalabim Software (Max Shapiro & Per Bergland), Frac very soon became a bestseller in Mac and MS DOS world and still has supporters all over the world.

For Linux the code was rewritten completely from scratch (with adding 'demo' mode, 256colour support, and more).and and released in 2000 as iFrac.
Linux version was ported to Windows in 2001.

Symbian OS release is port of Palm^® implementation (PiFrac). Both Palm and Symbian OS releases appeared originally in 2002.

Features of this release:

More relaxed game conditions: rollover from level 9 back to level 1
Consistent scroring: the new scoring system encourages skipping levels or starting with a non-empty keybopard
Customised keys and preferences, take advantage of your phone keypad type.
Sound and visual effects (flashing back lights)
Background music (select your favourite tunes for each level)
Local table of high scores (up to 10 entries)
World-wide score table on the web (up to 60 entries), optionally storing URL as a Notepad memo, or on the Desk,
Demo mode (plays itself!)
New: Siemens SX1 support
